1.Plan It Out
As I mentioned earlier, blogging has been developed as a full-time business now thus it should be treated as a business project. To become a good blogger, first of all, you need a ‘VISION’ and that vision should be well-planned and noted. Your motives, objectives, milestones, aspects to touch, daily blogs, content, all should be managed at one place and pre-planned to be executed. In this way not only you are ahead of time but also there is room for alteration. You can discuss it with a friend, ask people for their opinion about what you offer, and what improvements they feel like your blog needs.
2. Be Consistent
Blogging is no joke if you want to pursue it as a profession. Just like a regular job or business, you need to be consistent in it in order to become a popular blogger. You cannot become a good blogger by posting once a month and hoping for the world to embrace that very content of you. If you arent regular, you aren’t there at all. To overcome this problem a suggestion may be passed of creating and stocking the content before-hand. When you plan to become a blogger the first thing you have to do is to stock-up some content, even before creating your blog on any sort of forum. In this way, once you get started you will have plenty of content to upload and plenty of time to create new meanwhile.
3. Never Involve Your Personal Life
Unless it is dead necessary never involve your personal life in your blogging. Blogging like showbiz is a very exposed profession. If you wont respect your privacy none will. Stay low-key, or else you will have to face a regular criticism which only few, almost no one is strong enough to bear. Your relationships, marriage, divorce, family, education everything comes under the heading of ‘Personal Information’ and should not be open to everyone. Yes, if you blog about experiences which people may relate to. I suggest you convert it in the form of a story and deliver as the 3rd person, in order to avoid personal bashing.
4. Be Neutral And Kind
Know that you are all ears all the time, on your social platform. Never bash, insult, degrade, disrespect or pass any biased comment about any community, race, religion, sect or entity. Never use language, tone or words that may cause a particular person or community harm. Never promote hate speech and violence. If you have been granted an audience and power to influence, you need not to use it negatively or else you will have to face strong criticism and eventually will be disrespected. Know the worth of your words, and use them wisely.
5. Be Patient
Like any business, you have to be very patient if you wish to become a good blogger. You may not get the desired results right after you start posting. If you are a social worker you may not get the attention you deserve, like the fashion and makeup bloggers get. But you need to be patient and with patience, you need to keep moving even if at a slower pace. Best Of Luck My Bloggers! Comment below if you find it useful.
