Apple Orders 160 million OLED Screens for iPhone from Samsung

No doubt, Apple sold large amount of iPhones each year. And Samsung is the biggest manufacturer of OLED panels in the world. Samsung is not only the one company which manufacture the OLED screens. LG is also manufacturing OLED panels. The company is also increased the OLED manufacturing because of the increasing demand. In addition to it, smaller companies in China and Japan are also developing their own OLED screens. No doubt, the demand for OLED screens is rising and companies are more willing to use OLEd on their smartphones. That is the reason, the price of OLED has decreased as compared to the LCD panels.

Samsung is also planning to launch its latest coming smartphone S8 in the first quarter of 2017. The demand for S8 is going to increase this year as expected. After Note 7 flop, Company is more conscious about its battery explosion issue, to not happen again. Recently, Samsung has revealed the reasons behind Note 7 battery issue. First problem hit the first batch of Note 7 phones. In these phones battery was very large for the casing of phone. It caused it to over heat. After this they discontinued initial batch of Note 7 and manufactured the phone with some other supplier. New battery produced by supplier had the same issue of over heating.
