KP Government Launches Online Budget System
The Finance Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched online budget system. An official handout said all developing budget will now be available on the website. The system will benefit people, media personnel, government organisations and research institutions, it added. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Finance Sirajul Haq was the chief guest at the launching of the online system. Senior Minister Sirajul Haq termed the scheme a good omen and said public funds were a sacred trust of the people. He said by launching the system they had presented themselves before the court of people. Siraj said the system would ensure transparency and it was an important step towards the e-governance policy of the government.
